Breed Council Meeting, June 2018, Altanta, GA.

We had a good meeting at the Annual in Atlanta in June, with almost 20 in attendance.

Following introductions, we had our Awards Presentation.

Discussion was good. We talked again about ear set, data base, and Cinnamon gene/color. Please note that the Cinnamon color will be on the ballot this year. Please read carefully the rationale. And Please VOTE.

Some members asked that I check on the AOV in the Standard. I have checked, and it seems as it is a non-issue as it says NONE and under the color class numbers it also says NONE, and in our disqualify section we say disqualify any colors other than the 4 accepted colors.

Depending on the outcome of our ballot, I will check on rules of registrations on Reds coming in from other associations where they take both Red and Cinnamon.

If you have not purchased an Aby Book, please consider this as it is our only fundraiser and the only way we get money to do anything like up-dating the Breed Booth, or purchasing a pedigree program for our data base, and continue giving out awards.

Also, please consider taking out an Ad in our Book this also would help greatly in funding the awards. Our books go all over the world! (Asia, Europe, Australia, etc.)

Respectfully submitted,
Martha Auspitz
Aby Breed Council Secretary
